The beaches where I live allow you to camp and drive on the sand. I had set up my tent and was enjoying the view when the sun started to go down. That is when the tankers came and drove right through my camp. Instead of driving on the sand 50 feet from the waterline where everyone else already made a path. They decided to drive where the waterline was, and also where I was sitting. They knocked over my grill and ran over my fireworks. I had put up one of those triangle shaped safety reflectors so drivers would not run over me at night, but the truckers must not have seen it because they are so low to the ground and not very reflective.AAA 4342AAA Emergency Warning Triangle
I bought this safety cone because it is the tallest one at 28 inches, it is the size of standard traffic cones. The other ones I see for sale are merely 17 inches. That is too short and like a soccer cone. This safety cone comes with an led with two modes, strobe and constant. It lights up the entire orange area of the cone, not just the top like some other cones. The base is weighted. I have not tested it in windy conditions yet. The cone is made of cloth, it feels like nylon. In the rain, I am not sure how the led light will hold up because of the fabric cone and the underside of the cone has several holes (for water drainage?). It also has reflective tape in case the led lights fail. I tested it and it is very reflective and visible. The led lights make it even more visible in the dark.
I ordered this cone from the seller Microfiberhome and I received it within a week and in perfect condition.
I highly recommend this traffic cone.

These Safety cones do their job as safety cones in being highly visible. The fact that they are lit and/or blinking helps to make them much more visible at night. The collapsible feature makes them much easier to store.
I bought them so that my wife and I could practice driving our newly acquired motorhome. Neither of us had experience driving such a large vehicle. The one drawback to their design is that the base is made of brittle plastic and so they cannot take being run over by a 30,000 lb motorhome. We destroyed the bases of three of the eight that we purchased, but in the process, we did learn more about how to make turns in our rig. I would recommend that anyone interested in buying these, buy some of the conventional kind that can take being run over. The blinking LED feature is a good feature that the non-lit ones don't have.
