My mom bought a 2 pack and gave me one. I was a little skeptical at first thinking it was just another one of these miracle tool you see in commercials, but I have to say this one really works.
This mitt I do not believe is intended to remove loose hair from your pet, but it works wonders on cloth furniture, like my couch where both the cat and the dog lay down, even if they are not supposed to. It is very easy to remove the hair trapped on the cushions. I also tried it on my cloths as Shah, my Persian is leaving some of his very long hair wandering in between garments in the walk in closet. The other day I also had great results brushing the car seat after taking the dog to the vet.
This mitt is made of some synthetic material, looks like polyester for the most part, but the trick is that the weave exposes a series of miniature bristles that are positioned at an angle. As you move the mitt back and forth on top of a surface made of cloth, the bristles are trapping everything that is loose, and in particular hair, even very short ones. The best results is with a rotating motion which I guess increases the chance for the bristles to lift the hair.
The slit in the mitt to place your thumb is really ingenuous as it ensures the mitt stays firmly on your hand.
When vacuuming is not an option or on delicate surfaces this is the best tool I found so far. Highly recommended.

This is the best pet hair removeal "device" that I've used to date and it's really convenient in mitt form. It doesn't last forever because the seams eventually wear out (and break open) but think of it as a consumable and get the job done right!

i initially got this to help me groom my long haired cat. i'm not sure if it would work any better on short hairs, but long hair is useless. i was about to return it and write it off as a dud when i realized that while it doesn't work on the cat, it's perfect for everything else. blankets, pet bed, clothes... all the hair brushes quickly onto the glove, and from there it's easy to clear off to the trash.
you want to get hair off the cat, get a furminator, there's no substitute. if you want to get hair off everything else, get this.

I bought a set of these mitts several years ago and I still use them almost on a daily basis. I have a microfiber couch and loveseat, both of which are a cat hair magnet. I don't have time to vacuum daily, so I use these mitts and they work beautifully. They are washable and they last a long time. I have small hands, so I have a little trouble keeping the mitt on, but that really doesn't present much of a problem.
